Age additions and assumed age additions were introduced by rule 26 and rule 27 of the FPS 2015 Regulations, meaning an amount of pension to be added to an active member’s account and any added pension account (age addition) or a deferred member's account or retirement account (assumed age addition), for any proportion of the previous scheme year exceeding one month for which the member had continued to be employed beyond normal pension age under FPS 2015.
